Josabel Holgado-Paredes
Hi! My name is Josabel Holgado-Paredes and I am the Transitional Kindergarten teacher at West Hollywood ES.
This is my sixth year teaching at this amazing school. I have 19 years of experience teaching elementary students. I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in Child Development and Multiple Teaching Credential. I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine.
I love teaching Transitional Kindergarten! My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning and to help each child develop a strong belief in his or her own ability. I want them to do their best and to have a sense of pride in doing their personal best. It is also of primary importance to me that my students appreciate and respect other peoples’ differences.
I have a supportive husband named Frank and we have three wonderful children: Kalel (14), Dimitri (12), and Giselle (6).
